Stored media can be easily prepared for delivery on your website using our Distribution and Player services, or any HLS/DASH compatible player you want to use.

Is there a free trial?
We currently do not offer a free trial as we don't require long commitments or charge excessive upfront fees.
Why is there a subscription fee?
While we do not charge idle fees, we still have costs associated with every account open. In order to avoid charging a full idle fee, we instead opted to include a minimum usage fee.
What CDNs is Widecast using?
Most of our egress bandwidth is handled by BunnyCDN. We also use a mix of Cloudflare, Cloudfront and our own infrastructure for certian services.
How secure are our files?
Your files are stored with Amazon S3, one of the most durable file storage services available on the market.
Can I distribute non media files with Widecast?
You can store non-media files but our CDNs will only distribute HLS and DASH related files. Distribution of other files is unpractical and incurres a higher bandwidth fee.
Do you have an API?
Not at the moment but we're developing one. At this moment we're unable to estimate when will it be ready for usage.
Do you screen uploaded media before it is distributed?
We do not screen uploaded media. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the uploaded media is their ownership and does not infringe on somebody elses copyright. Our Terms of Service has a big section about this.
Can I download all the data I stored with Widecast?
Yes, we offer 24/7 account retrievals on demand.
